Privacy policy
Updated October 22, 2026
Your focus belongs to you. The current Flows app for iPhone works without an account, and keeps your progress on your device.
Who we are
Flows is operated by Changes Work Ltd. Contact max@changes.company with a privacy question.
What the iPhone app keeps
Flows stores your tree, focus sessions, credited minutes, dates, streaks and settings locally. Your onboarding answers and chosen activity stay on the device too. They help select the environments shown after a flow.
The current native app has no account, advertising, analytics, social features or subscription service. We do not receive your answers or focus history. Data may be included in your device backups according to your Apple settings.
Worlds and films
The background images and videos are included with the app. Choosing and animating a world does not send your answers to an image or video service. Share film creates a short video locally on your iPhone.
Nothing is posted automatically. When you use the system share sheet, you choose the app or recipient. That destination handles the film under its own privacy practices. If you choose Save Video, iOS may ask for permission to add the film to Photos. Flows does not need to read your photo library.
Notifications and widgets
If you allow notifications, Flows can announce the end of a flow or rest and remind you to water your tree. You can change notification permissions in iPhone Settings. Widgets and Live Activities use progress stored locally in the app’s shared device storage.
Your choices
You can change your activity before a flow, or answer the onboarding questions again from Settings. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device. Films you saved to Photos or sent to someone remain there until you remove them separately. Backup copies are managed through your Apple settings.
This website
The one-minute experience runs in your browser. Its activity, timer and sound choices stay in memory and reset when you reload the page; they are not sent to us or saved in local storage. If you choose to keep your moment, your browser creates and downloads a PNG image locally. This browser session is separate from your iPhone history.
This landing page does not use advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider receives the information needed to deliver web requests, such as your IP address. The main page loads its fallback typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser also requests font files from Google. Following a TestFlight link opens Apple’s service.
Earlier versions
The earlier web app and Capacitor versions offered optional accounts, cloud history and subscriptions. Those services are separate from the current native app and are described in the earlier privacy policy. Installing the native app does not itself delete an earlier cloud account. For questions about or deletion of data from those versions, email max@changes.company.
